Here's our story:
We've had Ruby, a German Shepard - Irish wolfhound
mix, for over ten years. We got
her from the Humane Society and at that time she was
in pretty rough shape. Her
previous "lives" had not been happy ones
and she was very timid and anxious as a
result. Over the years she's calmed down quite a bit
however she still has many,
many "issues" which can make her a challenge.
Which is why we're lucky to have found Heather and
Pet Agree. After our first dog
walker/boarder moved out of the city we were at a
loss until a friend mentioned that her
dog "loved" going out with Heather. From
the first time that we met I had a great
feeling and for the past five years Ruby has had a
great time with Heather and the
other dogs. When out in the park Ruby can get "spooked" at,
well, at NOTHING
really, so we wanted somebody who could read the signs
and get her on a leash
before she took off for home. Heather's great instincts
and ability to deal with all of
these different animals have given us 100% confidence
in her.
Most importantly, Heather loves and understands dogs.
She gets to know their
individual quirks and always finds the good in any
animal left in her care. We are lucky
to have her in our neighbourhood because we would
not
hesitate to leave Ruby with her for a day, over night
or while we're away for prolonged
periods. We know that Ruby is in a safe and enjoyable
place when we're away!
So...if you ARE looking for somebody to walk your
dog, board your dog or train your
dog...we would highly recommend Heather and Pet Agree.
We'd be lost without her!!!!
Sincerely,
Janet, Andrew and (Ruby) |

I have been using Pet Agree for walking,
boarding and training for over 2 years. The dog
walking services are dependable, honest, ethical and
caring. Chase always returns
happy and ready for a long afternoon nap. I no longer
feel guilty when I have to go
away and leave Chase for a few days – boarding
at Pet Agree is like going to camp for
Chase! Heather has formal education in canine training,
and an incredible intuitive
understanding of dog behaviours and the relationship
they have with their humans.
Heather’s training techniques are firm but sensitive.
As a result, my high-strung Setter
is now well socialized with other dogs, relaxed and
manageable with everyone, and we
are ALL happier as a result! I have recommended Pet Agree
services to my friends,
and they have enjoyed the same wonderful results.

Abby loves her run with her doggie friends each day and I go to work knowing she will
be exercised & happy until I get back. Boarding in a familiar home also makes for
peace of mind while on vacation. Its a Holiday for Abby too!

Heather is an amazing person.
She has the ability to accurately evaluate the needs of any dog and translate it to
owners through training. Based on your expectations of the dog and your commitment
to training or re-training Heather will be able to help in any situation.
Heather taught us how to cope with an aggressive adult rescue dog and more recently,
a new puppy. At 10 months our puppy is a happy, confident, playful, obedient, relaxed
teenager.
Heather has taken all the pain out of puppy hood and she is teaching it!
Heathers positive reinforcement method of training will ensure you and your dog will have many years of happiness together.

Journey (before she passed away recently)
was and Bailey is my child. I don't trust just anyone
with their care. But I completely trust Heather because
the dogs love her and happily wag along wherever Heather
goes.
